"Through running a retail music store(of the same name), we found ourselves fielding requests from artists and industry professionals regarding system design, installation and the service of existing sound systems," Matt Lillie said in a recent interview. "As our audio services expanded, Soundtown steadily progressed into one of the premier audio systems design and installation companies in North East."

Over the years, Soundtown Music has developed a solid reputation for designing some of the highest quality and most reliable systems to fit their client’s needs. Matt truly appreciates addressing challenges, and approaches each audio design with quality and functional perspective in the forefront.

Lillie and his wife, Chris, provide event production for many types of events and occasions including banquets and dinners, theatre productions, marketing and public relations events, weddings, private parties, conventions, conferences and a varietyof stage performances.

They also provide lighting and sound for many venues, events, organizations, schools and bands throughout the region such as Killington's Wobbly Barn, The Performers Playground and the Newport Opera House, Stratton Mountain Resort, Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center and the Tweed River Festival in Stockbridge, only to name a few.

Soundtown Music also recentl yprovided sound for a flood relief benefit concert in early October called The Concert for Killington Area, which raised over $40,000 for those effected in the Killington area by the Irene Tropical Storm.

Their professional live sound systems are each specifically designed to meet the needs of a diverse clientele, from wireless microphones and loud speakers, to hanging speaker designs and event recording systems and duplication machines, to re-enforcing the sound of a live band.

"Although our primary capabilities have expanded over the years, Soundtown Music continues to be the preferred local provider for live and installed sound systems including houses of worship, schools and large scale venues including auditorium and sporting venues."
