In fact, this was a young entrepreneur with a vision to create a local music scene for his generation. Hinkley may or may not see it this way, but this editor certainly does.

Ernie Johnson the playerPublished in the Green Mountain Outlook, Mar. 17, 2010 Meet Brattleboro-native Ernie Johnson, a Major League Baseball-announcing icon and former player who was recently inducted into the Georgia Sports Hall of Fame for his many years of faithful service as both a player and announcer for the Milwaukee and Atlanta Braves. The accomplishment marks the fifth Hall of fame in which Johnson has been inducted, but I digress.

Cleveland, Ohio native Wally Bryson was the lead guitarist and contributing songwriter for the Raspberries, one of the pioneering bands of the early 1970’s “power-pop” era.
Although the band would be short-lived, Raspberries had several Top 40 hits including their biggest single “Go All The Way,” which peaked at # 5 on the U.S. singles chart in 1972.
