Meet Ludlow, Vermont's Mairi Trimboli, currently a sophomore at Clemson University in South Carolina and a member of the Lady Tigers rowing team. A graduate of Black River High School (BRHS) in 2006, Mairi was a stand out in soccer, softball and snowboarding, while also an outstanding, honor role student.

CHESTER, VT – Steve Nelligan, Director of Chester Recreation Department, recently ran his third annual Black Fly Baseball Camp, held in Nason Gym at Green Mountain Union High School in Chester, Vermont. The camp hosted young baseball players ranging from ages seven to sixteen from seven area towns, offering six skill stations covering several aspects of hitting, fielding, pitching and base running.

Baseball Coach Leaves Life–Long Impression And Legacy

Former East Carolina head baseball coach and Fall Mountain graduate Keith LeClair, who was diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) or Lou Gehrig’s Disease in 2001, succumbed to the illness on July 19 after a courageous, five year battle. LeClair was 40 years old.

A long–time resident of Ludlow, Schmidt was presented with a plaque and also received a standing ovation from the over 200 fellow soccer officials which make up the VSOA.
