Upon joining the staff at The Message For The Week as Sports Editor a few years ago, I began using a camera to capture images at the local sports events I was covering.
As my photos got better, I became more interested in photography and began shooting other events for both The Message and my freelance writing work, including concert reviews, art gallery exhibits and candid shots for features and profiles.
I also enjoy taking photos of the outdoors, and living in Vermont (also a stone's throw from New Hampshire) allows me plenty of beautiful scenery to shoot. I often like to simply go for a drive down some scenic back road and see what kind of imagery it may create.
